Technical FAQ
SHG Zinc is the highest purity grade available, containing at least 99.995% zinc. It is the industry standard for high-performance hot-dip galvanizing and the production of Zamak die-casting alloys.
Zinc is primarily used as a protective coating for steel (galvanizing) to prevent corrosion. It is also used in the manufacturing of brass and as a key component in precision die-cast parts for automotive and hardware applications.
Zinc is supplied in ingots weighing approximately 25kg each. These are bundled into pallets of roughly 1 Metric Ton, securely strapped for containerized transport (20ft GP containers).
